Curriculum Vitae


Michael Siemon was born in Hessisch Lichtenau, Germany, in 1979.

As a child, he learned to play several Instruments and soon after discovered singing in different choirs based in his home town. He studied voice with Prof. Renate Stoll and Berthold Hirschfeld at the College of Music Saar in Saarbrücken, Germany between 2000 and 2006.

He enrolled in master classes with Kurt Widmer, Eugene Rabine, Wolfgang Millgramm, Claudio di Maglio,   Peter  Berne and KS René Kollo and has been continuing his studies with Gudrun Bär in Weimar, Germany since 2007.

So far, engagements have led him to the Gera-Altenburg Opera, the Braunschweig State Opera, the Bielefeld Opera, the Nordhausen Opera, the Aalto Theatre Essen, the Merzig Opera Festival, Schloß Rheinsberg Chamber Opera and Heidenheim Opera Festival. 

In the opera season 2010/11 he joined the ensemble at the Krefeld-Mönchengladbach Opera, Germany, performing roles like Eisenstein in "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauß und Leander in "Maskerade" by Carl Nielsen.

Michael Siemon is engaged as a concert singer for oratorios and mass on a regular basis. He counts in his repertoire the tenor parts of the baroque, the classical and romantic era.
